We’ve grown accustomed to senseless liberal logic insinuating that anything that has to do with the color spectrum is somehow racist or racially charged, however; the most recent attack by The Guardian filth-spiller, Tracy van Slyke, is so stupid it just made me chuckle.
Check out what she said about the demonic Thomas the Tank Engine.

For the record, all the “villains” on Thomas and Friends are the dirty diesel engines. I’d like to think there was a good environmental message in there, but when the good engines pump out white smoke and the bad engines pump out black smoke – and they are all pumping out smoke – it’s not hard to make the leap into the race territory.
As a kid I watched Thomas all the time, I had a life-sized Thomas and a play board for all the trains to travel around on. I loved trains. That’s why I loved the show. The characters and the plots also instilled a message of friendship and hard work, but racism? Ms. van Slyke must be inhaling some of that racist steam she is ranting about.

The white smoke is steam. It’s pointless to look for deep underlying messages in Thomas.

I always found that show to be way to condescending and was glad my kids didn’t like it. However, the real, hidden issue for the leftist is that Thomas the Tank Engine was written by a Methodist Minister (I Think)
It isn’t the weirdly implied racism the author objects to it is the ever so gently applied Christian morality, and general world view contained in the series that the left doesn’t like.
They are just not smart enough to realize why they don’t like the show and because - for them- everything boils down to skin color they call it racist.
Patrick did ask SB if he wanted to get naked once. I found that a little surprising for a kid’s show.

Steam doesn’t come out the smokestack of a coal burning steam engine, smoke does. The steam is release at the cylinders.
