Can I ask a stupid question? How did SW Airlines people find his Twitter feed right then when he was still at the airport? Do their personnel really go to social media sites when they are at work??? I think there my be an untold story here.
He “addressed” the tweet to the by putting @SWA in it. Not sure yanking him off the plane was the right move, but he did decide to turn it into a pissing contest, he shouldn’t be surprised he got a bit wet.

That’s what I’m curious to know as well.
To believe Duff Watson’s story we have to assume that the SW Airlines staff knew what his twitter handle is and that they had enough free time to go surfing for his comments.
If the article had included his twitter address we could at least look to see if the comment is actually there.
I’m thinking they have somebody whose job it is (in real time) to look at tweets that have hashtags mentioning SW.
