Not falling for it “chess player” or whoever the original author is.
I will support the peace keepers and enforcers until they are no longer law abiding. Bad cops are like homos; a small percentage of them make the rest of their kind look bad. Mthe vast majority are good guys so go try your divisive message on another conservative website.

What about the large number of cops that see the average, law-abiding citizen as the enemy?

The majority are good guys. The consequences of a run-in with the wrong one however, can be fatal. Police are the branch of the government authorized to use deadly force against you solely on the basis of their own discretion. No due process, no lawyers, no court hearings, no nothing.

If you wait until "they are no longer law abiding," at least your family may be able to make some money off a wrongful death suit.

Police are the reason George Washington observed that "Government is like fire, a dangerous servant and a fearful master."

Bad cops are like homos; a small percentage of them make the rest of their kind look bad.

Let's correct that a little bit.. Bad court rulings allow bad cops to get off with their brutality. Shoot a kid holding an airsoft rifle? Totally immune from prosecution because 'police hold a special status; it is expected that failure to immediately follow police directives is in itself an indication of life threatening danger.' Think the worst case in Robocop; you have five seconds to comply before your life is ended.

So, yes, I support the police. I also support holding them (and every public employee) to the same laws and regulations that I must endure. I expect them to face the same prosecution for shooting someone that I would face if I had done the deed.

Bad laws, bad court decisions, make for bad cops.

Yep. Police officers have the same rights as anyone else when they are accused.

Yes. Coppers are like lawyers -and support each other fully.

98.8% of them provide a bad example for the rest.

I am reminded of the old whisper that most laboratories have replaced the standard white rat with black and brown ones due to 'multiculturalism', and in many cases with either lawyers or on- or off- duty cops (the lines are often blurred) for two major reasons.

First, the researchers were becoming attached to the rats...

And second, because there are some things that rats simply WILL NOT do.

Your problem, is like that of a lot of others, they expect the cops to police themselves but they seem unwilling to do that. There are some rare exceptions that suffer repercussions for crossing the blue line.

That leaves you all with the puzzle: are these other cops condoning this behavior by not speaking out, or do they perhaps engage in it themselves periodically?

That fat taxpayer pension for a lifetime of doughnut patrols and easy money are hard to jeopardize, no doubt.

Lots of questions, but all lead back to your premise that most cops are the good guys. That sort of narrows it down, no?

But you’re just refering to the so-call bad apple.

There is a much bigger picture to see here.

What many Americans are finding quite disturbing and are questioning are entire departments ramping up into military style units, buying up military war vehicles, using military tactics etc.

In fact why is it we now have hundreds of times more SWAT military commando style teams than just a couple decades ago? We’re talking even small rural departments now have their own military style swat teams. And look at all these govenrment departments, as they too have developed their own militarized units, like the Department of Education, etc.

It’s to the point where they are being used in all kinds of situations, where they were initially ONLY designed for extremely violent people and or violent hostage situations.

Looking at the bigger picture and these trends are very alarming for those paying attention.

.

until they are no longer law abiding

That's the point of the article. The police are "more frequently" out-of-control ...

It's no longer a Mayberry "protect and serve" mission, and has morphed into a quasi-military-style operation.

Most urban police operations are unfortunately what the IRS has become ... FEARED.

When you're pulled over, what's "your" reaction ?

FEAR.

You have no idea of what's going to happen next.

The cop is either going to hit you with an obscene fine, and if you offer protest, then you'll get several obscene fines, and then get ARRESTED.

Amerika has changed, for the worse.

” Bad cops are like homos; a small
percentage of them make the rest of their
kind look bad.”

Those ‘good’ cops are nothing of the sort. They will choose Team Blue over right and wrong. They happily protect bad cops. That makes your ‘good’ cops just as bad. And their attitudes suck.

There are a lot of innocent victims of police incompetence and arrogance. One day, you or yours will be on the wrong end of a cop encounter through no fault of your own.

In the 1980s, about 60,000 people blocked doorways and hallways, keeping murderers away from their intended victims. Thousands of police officers came to these scenes, and made themselves direct accomplices to murder by removing the people who were obstacles to the murders.

NOT ONE Catholic bishop in America published a statement instructing the police not to make themselves accomplices to murder. A number of bishops ENCOURAGED the police to make themselves accomplices to murder—most notably John May of St. Louis.

When the “government” tells them to, American police KILL innocent people. They have done it in the past, and they will do it in the future. And they routinely murder innocent people every day.

Most men will commit any crime for a paycheck. The police are our enemies in this country, because the “government” is our enemy.

“Bad cops are like homos; a small percentage of them make the rest of their kind look bad.”

Then where are those other good cops when bad cops do bad things? Nowhere, which means they are not good cops. Good cops would arrest and prosecute bad cops and they don’t.

This isn’t about individual cops. Its about a system that has gone amuck.

Cops are supposed to be peace officers, not a paramilitary army of occupation that can get away with anything it chooses.

The militarization of the police in place of a the citizen National Guard is one of the gravest threats to individual civil liberties in America today.

And remember, unlike nearly all other government officials and employees, hey ultimately answer to no one but themselves.

I defend them when they are right, but criticize them when they are wrong and the author of this piece is dead right on.

Never let the government unionize against you.

Who can stop the police today? It will take a huge, long term national campaign, to get the police back under the control of the citizens.

It will be the democrats and the left against the conservatives, it won’t start completely that way at first, but in time, as the battle lines harden and the politics of the situation become more clear, we will discover that unionized city and state employees are a force of the left.

Filing a false police report is called tampering with public records. It’s a felony. If this wasn’t recorded do you want to see what the police report would have said? Some of these cops Missed their calling in life. They are very creative and should be writing for cop shows on network TV. They are very talented....

On July 20 I was on routine patrol. I saw a man with a kiosk and neon lights Advertising cigarettes for sale on the sidewalk. Having probable cause I approached the man and told him that selling cigarettes on the sidewalk is illegal, sir, I will have to ask you to please cease and desist.

The man stood up in a threatening manner. It was then that I noticed the strong odor of alcohol and marijuana on his breath.

He said “f&$:) you I will kill you and your family”. Then he whipped out a machete and pair of nunchucks and an AK-47 assault rifle and pointed it at us. I said Sir, you are under arrest for possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Please put your hands behind your back.

He said “f$;45& you I’m going to open fire”

Fearing for our safety, we had no choice other than to circle him like a pack of lions and take him down Like a wildebeest.

This photo below is representative of police work today. The “bad” cop does the dirty work, while the “good” cops stand by approvingly, with their arms folded. The cop who assaulted this wheelchair bound guy with the IQ of an idiot, was given a 30 day suspension. The damn sadistic Psychopath hit a wheelchair bound invalid, and knocked him to the ground. His buddies, the so called "good cops" stood behind him. Any normal *civilian* would have been thrown in jail.

What kind of “MAN” knocks over a mentally challenged, wheelchair bound person? What kind of police department stands behind a so called “peacekeeper" like this?
Answer those two questions.
