RIP

Thank you for saving my family from the high cost of Obama’s hate for the American economic process.

RIP; I’ve shopped at Aldi in Berlin....as well as the other store, founded by the other Albrecht brother: Lidl.

LOL

Both are good stores, to be honest, and I’ve always saved a good deal by going to either one.

My personal fave is a chain called “Kaufland”. Really good place to shop.

We used to drive about 40 miles to get to an Aldi’s until they built a couple in our town.

RIP and thank you for a great store!

this was a very nice read about the founder of Aldi... i tried shopping at Aldi once since i have been in NC... while i know it serves a purpose, it was not my cup of tea... perhaps i should try again—maybe a different location... i am thinking the selection differs according to the day and even time of year...

RIP. We’ve only had Aldi here for six years, but it’s just fine. Dairy, meat, produce all good stuff. Generally 1 of whatever item, but that’s ok too. Probably a good reason prices are 15-25% lower than WallyWorld/Kroger! One beef is no baker’s yeast or baking powder kept as a stock item, but lots of baking staples they do have? Oh, well.

Aldi rocks. Cheap and being European owned you get alot of imported things you don’t see anywhere else. I love their Irish cheeses.
