Liberal law professor calls Obama power grab a ‘constitutional tipping point’
Conservative Intelligence Briefing ^ | July 18 2014 | CIB

Prominent George Washington University law professor and Obama supporter Jonathan Turley on Wednesday officially threw his support behind the GOP effort to sue Barack Obama for executive overreach.

The Washington Times reports that Turley used his prepared testimony to explain that while Barack Obama is not alone in overreaching, the degree to which it is being done by this administration is unprecedented, saying Obama has “reached a constitutional tipping point that threatens a fundamental change in how our country is governed.”

”What we are witnessing today is one of the greatest challenges to our constitutional system in the history of this country,” Turley wrote.

The liberal law professor says Obama’s actions have warranted bipartisan support for the Republican lawsuit challenging the unilateral – and politically driven – postponement of the Affordable Care Act mandate requiring all medium and large businesses to provide employees with approved health insurance plans or be penalized for failing to do so.

Suing is stupid, why hand this to the courts when there is already a way to handle this, impeach. In the meantime cut all funding for all the various garbage this fake has wrought upon us all.

Besides that, immediately cut all foreign aid to Mexico and the rest of South America while at the same time adding a 25% surcharge to all private wire transfers of money to Mexico and South American countries.

States such as Texas should surcharge anyone not here on a visa or anyone that cannot provide a drivers license when buying anything that has a sales tax an additional 50% sales tax.

Our politicians are a bunch of fags and pu$$ys. Why have a house and senate?

Jonathan Turley knows what he’s talking about... if he’s ‘in’ we should all be in with him.

impeach

Impeachment without conviction of impeachment is pointless.

Seems rather confused - why would a progressive and long-time “Barack Obama supporter” suddenly get worried about a “Constitutional tipping point” now?

to be a Progressive and to believe what Obama believes means one would not have to care about the Constitution from the start.

One can swallow "substantial effects" and "emanations from penumbras" (though I don't) and still gag on naked power grabs.

they only care about future elections and power grabs. they need to get the train on another track.

>>that threatens a fundamental change in how our country is governed

Hey Liberal...that’s what you voted for...twice. He said that he was going to do that. Why did I believe him and you didn’t?

...saying Obama has “reached a constitutional tipping point that threatens a fundamental change in how our country is governed.”

Isn't that what Zer0 promised? Not one reporter bothered to ask what he meant by 'fundamental change'.

Impeachment without conviction of impeachment is pointless.

I knew the utterly corrupt Senate would let Clinton get away with it. I'm glad he was impeached anyways, if only because it made it crystal clear the Senate is utterly corrupt. Similar to the way the lamestream press warns us "ultra conservative so and so.." I now say "Impeached ex-President Clinton" as a matter of routine. The liars say he was acquitted, I KNOW it was a hung jury.
