Russia warns Ukraine of ‘irreversible consequences’ after cross-border shelling

MOSCOW— Russia is warning Ukraine of “irreversible consequences” after cross-border shelling from the battle-worn east struck Russian territory Sunday, reportedly killing one Russian citizen and injuring two others.

“This incident highlights the extremely dangerous escalation of tensions in the Russian-Ukrainian border and may have irreversible consequences, the responsibility for which lies on the Ukrainian side,” Russia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement Sunday, calling the incident an “aggressive action.”

Russian officials summoned the Ukrainian charge d’affaires to the foreign ministry in Moscow to protest the civilian’s death, which they say occurred when the Ukrainian army in the Luhansk region shelled Russia’s Rostov region across the border, hitting a residential building.

Ukrainian officials vehemently deny that they have fired on Russian territory and are questioning whether Russia is making up details surrounding the incident simply to build a case against Ukraine’s military.

Sounds pretty far-fetched to me.

Considering that the EU is as socialist or maybe more so than Russia

It is impossible for the EU to be "as socialist" as Russia when Russia is literally a gangster state with large parts of it, if not nationalized, then privately run by members of the regime anyway. And these same people are either straight out communists or real live Nazis who have no problem with throwing innocent people out of windows or shooting them in their front yards.

Anyone who equates the United States with Russia is no different than the leftists during the cold war, or the leftists now who equate Israel and the Islamists.

Please provide solid evidence of Russia’s “invasion” of Crimea.

Crimea was already part of Russia on the date you claim Russia “invaded” Crimea. So it is YOU who apparently doesn’t follow to news & hasn’t a CLUE! Russia was defending Crimean forces on it’s own territory!

....”they might want to figure out how to pay and feed the troops, first”....

Sheesh! They still aren’t feeding them! With all the funds going into Kiev for just that you’d think they would have licked that issue in one swoop!.....but then they are crooks and thieves....their History has not changed though perhaps how they go about concealing their thefts might have changed.

“The elected government in Ukraine was not forced out.”

You try so hard to control the LAUNGUAGE of what has happened, but you can’t.

The Not-a-coup coup actually happened.
The Not-A-Nazi Nazi’s actually do exist.

The facts are simply the facts, no matter how hard you try to spin them away.

I like how the resident Putinists/PaulBot freaks post comments to each other about the random stuff Russian propaganda puts out, but they won’t post this to other people since they know they’d be required to post evidence, and their evidence only consists of a Russkie or Paulbot twitter feed or news websites which feature people who claim that the Vatican has stolen the world’s gold supplies.

I can’t wait until that advanced night vision gear Obama is sending to Kiev ends up on Ebay. It’ll make a sweet buy!!

Well let's see who controls the language, really: You're free to show me a definition for the word "coup" that involves an elected government remaining in power after it has occurred, followed up by an election.

VIDEO from tonight of heavy fighting south of Lugansk. Best I can geo-locate this to is south of Rozkishne, south of the beltway.

I would guess the brightly burning points are AFV’s?

Only Putin’s communist comrades Castro, Ortega, and Maduro recognize the illegal annexxation of Crimea, along with Baath socialist mass murderer Assad. The whole rest of the world doesn’t. Not even Belarus.

....” Putin himself admitted it”....

All is fair in love and war.....so yo admit Putin pulled a fast one! LOL.

Heck he had their communications shut down long before his troops "walked into Crimea"....it was a brilliant move even our military admitted and were amazed at! The advantage is now we know Putin's capability to some extent....using and revealing such worked, but it gave our military opportunity to "see" Putin's military cards...at least those which he exposed.

Because of this I doubt Putin will make another move "like" it any time soon. Although he certainly put people on edge expecting it.....also another tactic he played to the hilt.

The burning area on when the camera pans left is likely Lugansk Airport.

Do you ever discuss issues or just resort to name calling?

Crimea was already part of Russia on the date you claim Russia “invaded” Crimea.

More than one person has shown you that Russia admitted to having its troops illegally operating on Ukrainian territory. As for the sham "referendum," the two choices with regard to secession were "yes," and "yes." Sucks to be ignorant, I know, but I suppose it's a Russian thing.

Russian forces invaded Ukraine in February and the referendum was held in March.

How do you discuss “issues” with regard to propaganda? When Russia Today posts a story from a UFO-conspiracy website, do you expect a serious discussion of it?

What's interesting about the Putinist masturbation over how great a thief Putin is, is that they don't seem to be aware of what it plainly means:

That Putin orchestrated an invasion of another country and forced a segment of the population to become Russian citizens at gunpoint. People have already been murdered in Crimea who oppose the regime, and there are even fliers being handed out encouraging people to report neighbors to the FSB.

But these same Putinists want us to believe that 1) Russia was acting in accordance with the will of the people or, at least, for their best interests. 2) That the trouble is spontaneous and the fault of "Nazis" in Ukraine, including, apparently, self-hating Nazi Jews.

Both of these points are contradicted every time the Putinist freaks start drooling at the mouth with how great a killer and a thief their leader is.
