Israel is actually sending in humanitarian relief - at the very same time that it is hammering Hamas!

I doubt Israel is sending cash.

You didn’t read the article. Islamic governments have cut off Hamas’s funding, so Hamas is running out of missiles and can’t pay its government civil servants.

Right. So what is Hamas going to do to get more funding? How will it convince Muslims that it is relevant and should be supported?

Hamas appears to be operating on the basis that the reason they don't have enough funding, is because they have not been sufficiently diligent on conducting Jihad against Israel.

Egypt condemns Israel’s attacks on Hamas - with a wink
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3179092/posts

[snip] A Foreign Ministry spokesman called on Israel to “contain the situation by ceasing all military operations, showing maximum self-restraint,” ... [Egypt] continues to keep the Sinai-Gaza border closed... a political decision, not a military one, an unnamed official in the army’s spokesman’s office told Mada Masr on Wednesday... adding that the army is aware of “what is happening to people in Gaza.” [/snip]

IOW, the official statement was much more realistic and diplomatically reasonable than any of the remarks from the Obama regime.
