I guess that they’ll ask for a delay or a continuance and dump the docs before the Labor day weekend.. either that or “emailz? my dog eated them...”

So... Who exactly are they going to find who will stand and be the ‘suicide monkey’ to TRY and protect the agency?

So, what can the judge do, when they either don’t do it, or lie through their teeth?

Thanks. Looks like just the guy:

Lots. He can hold them in civil contempt, fine them, and send them to jail. A Federal District Judge, in his own courtroom, is one of the most dangerous, powerful people in the world.

Hmmm, did the IRS learn from UK's Guardian or did the Guardian learn from the IRS? This tidbit was in a Yahoo news article about Snowden and the NSA but could easily have been about certain parties in the IRS and their emails: http://news.yahoo.com/us-given-heads-newspaper-data-destruction-080151705--politics.html:
"The Guardian's editors spent three hours destroying hard drives and memory cards with drills and angle grinders. Two GCHQ staffers stood by as Guardian staff fed crushed bits of computer into a degausser, a microwave-like device intended to irreversibly erase data."

Judges have the power to put people in jail if they lie under oath or refuse to give information.
That’s what they can do... and that’s what’s going to happen.

Maybe not. Curious thing; he’s a Clinton appointee and the Clintons and Obamas currently seem to be in a blood feud. If so, he might be the Clintons’ designated hatchet man.
