Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), one of the presidents fiercest critics, says President Obama shouldnt be impeached.
On Imus in the Morning Thursday, McCain was asked to react to Sarah Palins call this week for Obama to be impeached.
Well, I don't agree and I remember going through an impeachment of William Jefferson Clinton, he said. There are not votes here in the United States Senate to impeach the president of the United States and I think that we should focus our attention on winning elections.

By using summer vacation empty Public School classrooms as holding pens for the Illegal Hispanic Children Invaders, Obama has insured that these classrooms will not be de-loused and fumigated in time for Public School to start by Labor Day, 2014.
This planned disruption of the normal Public School year was carefully timed to disrupt the Fall Election Campaign, on a number of different topics, not the least of which is to provide a major distraction to numerous Obama scandals, mismanagement, and the total six year failure of the Democrat Partys Obama as a leader, both Foreign and Domestic.
Did Obama time this Illegal Alien Invasion with the cooperation of the Mexican Drug Cartels, or was this just careful planning by Obama, and staff?
If so, how many US Taxpayer Dollars were paid to these Mexican Drug Cartels?
Should Speaker Boehner begin Articles of Impeachment on Obama before or after OUR children start Public School after Labor Day?
Everyone said that the ant couldn’t move that rubber tree plant.
He won’t agree with anything Palin says.
McCain really IS an idiot. The House impeaches. The Senate votes to remove from office.
Certainly no chance until we take the Senate. But it you combine taking the Senate, then really starting to investigate some of the major corruptions and their players, and start impeaching those around Obama (Holder, Clinton, IRS, EPA, DHS, etc), you will have a much easier path to impeach and remove Obama.
I agree with McCain. Obama deserves to be hung as a traitor but the reality is that impeachment would accomplish nothing at great cost.
“Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), one of the presidents fiercest critics.....”
Good grief, apparently this author has won the....lose all credibility in the fewest words..... contest.
Unfortunately he’s correct because he himself would vote against impeachment along with Graham and many other republicans.
“no chance of success”
Why John? Say it! SAY IT!
“The man’s race protects him from the normal checks and balances built into our system!”
"No, ma'am. He's a decent family man [and] citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues and that's what this campaign's all about. He's not [an Arab]." "I have to tell you. Sen. Obama is a decent person and a person you dont have to be scared of as president of the United States" ~John McCain
As much as I despise John McCain - he is right - the Senate will never vote to impeach their ruler. I also think the libs would use this to rev up their base more during the mid-terms. Possibly, if the Reps gain control of the Senate in November, then impeachment might be on the table.
The few that do seem to have the ability want to run for some other office instead of staying and fixing the one they were elected to.
The ant didn’t need 60 votes to do it.
In common parlance, “impeachment” is used to refer to the entire process, the impeachment and the trial.
You can impeach all day long until the cows come home.
But 67 US Senators are required to vote for conviction.
Are we anywhere near that?
Harry Reid will just laugh. He never takes up anything passed by the House.
OTOH,focusing on the IRS...the border...and OsamaObamaCare will drive his numbers even lower. That will put the Rat Party's nominee in '16 in a bad situation.
Oh,forgot to mention....is an incumbent Rat President as their nominee in '16 really what we want?
Focus on winning the election for the Rats, he means.
No chance of Juan success.
I’m glad McCain wasn’t with George Washington when he crossed the Delaware River — “no chance of success”.
