New border risk: ISIS ties to Mexican drug lords

Expert warns Middle East turmoil could sting U.S.

WASHINGTON – A top U.S. Defense Department analyst under President Bush says ISIS, the Islamic jihadists creating a Muslim caliphate in Iraq and beyond, could use the Mexican border to infiltrate America, and it could happen “sooner rather than later.”

At a time when thousands are crossing the U.S.-Mexico border illegally each day, the risks might never be higher, said Michael Maloof, now a senior staff writer for WND and expert on the Middle East.

He said there are risks to the economy and the nation’s health. And he warned the Iraq crisis easily could turn into a global issue.

In the Middle East, the radical jihadists in the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (Greater Syria), or ISIS, have been conquering northern portions of Iraq. They’ve been executing, crucifying and beheading as they burn through the fragile nation. They now threaten to overthrow the government of Iraq and its neighbors to build a caliphate to use as a launching pad for attacks on the U.S. and its allies.

...

MS-13 already are in over 1,100 U.S. cities, and, as a consequence, the infiltration capabilities are very, very high and the threat from them can be sooner rather than later,” Maloof warned.

Just remember, that based on Fast & Furious, the Obama Administration has ties to certain Mexican drug cartels as well.

Will the drug cartels be angry when they find out that 0bama has been selling ISIS more and better arms than they were getting?

I’ve been saying this all along. We are a narco nation, and Obama is working for the cartels. He is a traitor, working for the enemy.
He was installed by our enemies. Chavez was installed by Iran, and Chavez turned Venezuela into the biggest drug dealing nation in the world.

I don’t pretend to know who Obama works for, besides his largest individual financier, George Soros, but the real Cartel leaders are bankers, hedge fund managers, and national leaders. Russia, China, and Iran have the highest rates of opium addiction in the world. This is a side effect of trafficking.

The cheering endorsements by Chavez and Ahmadinejad should have sounded the alarm bells of who Obama is years ago.

Actually, the cartels work for him, since Brennan took control of CIA. Who do you think organized the shipments of disease riddled children to the US border?

DUH....we've been cyber-screaming this at FR since ISIS first started their walk through Iraq. ISIS sympathizers and their techniques are going global and getting more entrenched every day. Why aren't govs that can do so blowing ISIS of the planet? Now, the message is their techniques work.

Another thing these idiots in charge should think about. All of these unaccompanied women coming over the border with their children? They don't look underfed or to be peasants who have nothing. Has it occurred to anyone that many of them have husbands or brothers at home who are drug traffickers and rebels? And now they'll have access to the US, too.

I hate drugs but this drug war hasn’t kept anyone who wants drugs from getting them. It has just made the drug lords rich while leaving a lot of dead bodies behind them and corrupting Police, Judges and Politicians.

I’m becoming convinced that we need to legalize them and kill the cash cow overnight.

It’s time for the military to stop this destruction of America. That’s the only solution. Obama is allowing the muslims in through the southern border. Perry was right. Now Perry needs to do something about it. Secede then he can seal up the Republic of Texas border.

As much drugs that come into this country I have to ask “Who is buying that much junk?”

That appears to be the least bad option.

And do our democrats care one bit??? NOPE. ISIS and illegals are votes for democrats. Then, when the inevitable terrorist strikes occur, the demos will be howling that republicans didn’t do anything to protect the border. The lo-fo voters and new illegals will counter any losses the dems have in 2014 and 16

You are being too logical.

That equates to all the “bad” labels; right wing, extremest, etc.

Your comment about (criminal) men at home who can now ‘get sponsored’ does give ANOTHER negative perspective to this invasion.

kill the cash cow overnight.—

It has been my position that legalizing drugs will only push these same folks into more onerous activities: human traficking [dang spell checker], kidnapping, extortion, etc.

But maybe ... legalize them ... then as their reaction spins to adjust, maybe we can get ahead, for a change.

The more the Fed prints money, the more important the drug trade is to getting that cash out of the country. Effectively, the welfare state is laundering money for the Fed.
