They Lost China, and Iran, and Iraq, and Libya, and Afghanistan and Pakistan and...

A victory beyond the wildest dreams of Osama bin Laden is within reach of fighters from ISIL, a group of which he would likely approve regardless of what current Al Qaeda leadership says about the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. And it's all Obama's fault.

“Iraqi troops battled to dislodge an al Qaeda splinter group from the city of Tikrit on Monday,” reports the Hindustan Times, “after its leader was declared caliph of a new Islamic state in lands seized this month across a swathe of Iraq and Syria.”

The caliphate claims worldwide authority over all Muslims, and poses a challenge not to U.S. control in the region—because we have none-- but to Iran’s control of Iraq.

So no matter who wins, we are pretty much doomed to an outcome that will cost America hugely in the future. Currently, Russia is sending military aid to Iraq to bolster the current government. In response to the crisis, President Obama has sent Iraq an autographed copy of his book, a $25 gift card from Starbucks, and outtakes of planted questions from a recent press conference on Iraq.

It’s hilarious. I’ve seen it.

What’s not hilarious is that they lost China, they lost Iraq…and Iran, and Libya, and Afghanistan and Pakistan AND they tried mightily to lose Egypt. Fortunately, the U.S. trained officers of the Egyptian Army have more sense than they do.

Who are the “they” in this scenario?

Well despite what our own prophet of doom, Dr. Ron Paul, says about Iraq-- he blames it squarely on G.W. Bush-- this is all president Obama’s fault.

He’s the “them” here.

Because here’s the thing: Let’s pretend for a moment that Obama actually cared about foreign policy and national security.

I know that’s hard to do, but please try.

Obama can’t fight wars and then expand welfare; he can’t fight wars and expand social security disability; he can’t fight wars and have Obamacare too.

In short, Obama and his leftist friends have decided that the only common defense that they care about is defending the government’s reach to every corner of American society.

So national security can be damned.

We just can’t afford to make the country secure right now.

There are too many free telephones, birth control, and bailouts for Obama cronies to give away with your money to afford a luxury item like a free and secure country.

“I knew from the start that if I left the woman I love--the Great Society,” said president Lyndon Johnson about America’s involvement in Vietnam, “in order to fight that bitch of a war, then I would lose everything. All my programs. All my hopes. All my dreams.”

Obama and his friends will not make the same mistake that Johnson, the old liar, claims he made.

The Obama folks: many of them are, after all, the folks who toppled LBJ in 1968, the Democrat who created the Great Society.

LBJ once said Gerald Ford couldn’t walk and chew bubble gum at the same time.

Actually Ford was a gifted athlete.

It’s LBJ and his contemporary liberal friends who can’t do two things at once.

And this is part of the reason why the Obama administration is so obsessed with spying by the NSA.

Being the amateurs that they are, they have no idea what the real job of the intelligence community is.

They think that spying is a cheap substitute for national defense, which it is not.

That type of policy only leads to the gutting of our national liberty and the gutting of our national defense, all in the name of defending our liberty to have free phones, free birth control, and free money.

The loss of the Middle East is a loss that even LBJ would be ashamed of.

“Tell me something Lieutenant,” said Hippy in author Karl Marlantes’ epic depiction of the Vietnam War, Matterhorn, written from the viewpoint of a Marine infantry company. “Just tell me where the gold is. Yes, the gold, the f---ing gold, or the oil, or uranium. Something. Jesus Christ, something out there for us to be here.”

Well, the gold is now at home. The Federal Reserve has it, as Dr. Ron Paul would no doubt remind us.

But the oil? That’s in the Middle East.

And even an old, grizzled Marine knows deep down that that is something worth fighting for.

Let’s pretend for a moment that Obama actually cared about foreign policy and national security.

Oh, but he cares very deeply.

I saw an interesting question posed to an Obama apologist on FNC recently... To the effect of, “Name one country with whom the US has a better, more respectful relationship now than it did in 2008.”
The Obamaphile didn’t have an answer, and neither do I, whether its allies like Canada, Israel, UK, Poland and Germany, or more frequent rivals like Russia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria and China. Obama has alienated them all.

I hope the question is put to the former head of his State Department for four of those years. What does one expect when diplomats and Russia experts like Connie Rice are replaced by amateur domestic politicians for nakedly domestic political purposes?

Agreed, Obama has been everything but uncaring or "hands off" as the media pretends or believes.

The problem is that Obama is working for the enemy. He would not be America's first benedict Arnold, much less the last..

As soon as he came into office, Obama tripled the number of troops in Afghanistan. The media didn't even blink, and the protestors and headline news banging the drums of anti war, dissapeared like prom dress on innaguration..

Then there's Libya, Syria, Egypt .....Samuel Hersch, famed author, did a good job of connecting the dots of Obama's illegal use of the US military to go to war in Lybia, Syria, and Pakistan.

The Red Line and the Rat Line.

Obama's Illegal Use of US Military A True Concern

"The real Obama scandal: fighting illegal wars in Libya and Pakistan The AP, IRS and Benghazi controversies are political sideshows. Obama's use of illegal force abroad is true concern" The Guardian 2013.

There are many more dots that paint an even clearer picture of Obama's abuse of Federal Powers.

"The recent decision of the Obama Administration to unilaterally withhold military aid and support without consulting Congress sends the message the United States is on the side of terrorists, instead of with those who are fighting terrorism. Instead of condemning the Egyptian people and their aspirations of a new democratic and free Egypt, the United States should be supporting and learning from Egypt’s war on terror. Obama Unilaterally Pulls Support for Egypt as Morsi Fights Against Taliban Terrorists Breitbart 2013

"Barack Obama has been playing a critical role in making sure that Egypt, one of our staunchest allies in the Middle East, is positioned to become the next member of the Union of Iranian Radical Islamist Republics headed by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Every single word out of the president’s mouth, every single move he’s made has had the effect of stabbing Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in the back, of opening the door to Islamist radicals taking another step on their way to restoring an unholy caliphate in that region".

Clearly Obama is serving Soros and those he launders money for. Most major Wall Street banks are known to be laundering $BILLIONS in drug money, and the SEC doesn't blink.

Obama has refused every opportunity for US oil independence that has crossed his desk. He's scooped up Federal lands, and leases less than 2% of off shore Federal lands. All growth has been private.

Last month Obama approved the export of unrefined oil from only 2 hand picked companies. In the 1st quarter of this year, Soros SEC filings show he purchased, enough stock in 3 companies to become majority shareholder. Those company happened to be producers from the Eagle Ford Basin where the exports would be produced.

Obama is also serving Qatar. Obama went after Assad after he refused an oil pipeline from Qatar, through Syria, to Turkey.

Iran installed Chavez in Venezuela, and Al Qaeda operatives are working with drug cartels all over Latin America. Pretty sure our government is complicit, and Sinaloa cartel members have reported the cartels having an agreements with Federal Agencies to bring heroin and other drugs into the US, "Chicago" to be exact. Remember "Fast and Furious" when Holder's ATF was giving the Sinaloa cartel arsenals of weapons?

That's what they are doing with Syrian rebels (Al Qaeda) in the Middle East. The Revolutionary Islamists are basically drug cartels, and some in the business of human trafficking. They are protected by Islamic nations, and just as with FARC in Colombia, they will get out of control and bite the hands that feed them.

That is why you see Obama's schizophrenic actions. He uses and enables them with weapons, support, training, until they get out of hand and then he sends drones or after them. That is what Benghazi was all about.

These are the people that think some science can design a model and through the magic of blinking lights of a computer predict the weather in 20-30 or 50 years.

Of coarse they are anamored with the NSA. We’ve just seen ISIS skillfully employ an app to propogate thier message via 40,000 arm chair jihadi’s. No doubt they are slapping themselves on the back, they probably think it’s an intelligence boon, but they are simply watching proliferation, exponential proliferation. It all amounts to ever more “chaffe”...40,000 Today and there will be 120k tomorrow...and what more do you know? Nothing more...more likely you know LESS as if they (ISIS or whoever) have any suffictication (and they do) they are employing disinformation. They (the administration) take solace in the fact we do have more blinking lights on more servers.

The NSA is most effectively employed against us. They have a shiny new hammer and everything looks like a nail.

FANTASTIC — Bill Whittle: Anti-war Democrats are losing the peace in Iraq just like they did in Vietnam

Bill Whittle nails it once again by showing us how the anti-war Democrats are snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in Iraq just like they did in Vietnam war.
