A blue-cheese burger with lettuce, tomato and garlic aioli, accompanied by Parmesan-sprinkled fries. Chocolate fudge cake. Pasta shells stuffed with four cheeses, topped with meat sauce and shredded mozzarella, and served with a garlic breadstick. Cake infused with limoncello. Buffalo wings with celery, carrots and homemade ranch dip.
Such was the fare served to passengers aboard Air Force One during a particularly grueling three-state day on the campaign trail just before the 2012 election. Not much has changed since.
Its American fare, in that its not going all arugula on people, said Arun Chaudhary, who was President Obamas videographer from 2009 to 2011. Its not aggressively nutritious.
To say the least. The food on Air Force One is well known among White House staff members and reporters for being plentiful in quantity and broad in appeal, but not always the perfect mirror of the nutritional recommendations coming out of the office of the first lady, Michelle Obama, who has made healthy eating and living her mission.
According to the Agriculture Departments MyPlate guide, unveiled by Mrs. Obama in 2011, fruits and vegetables should make up half of a meal. (White potatoes alone will not do the trick, as the first lady wrote in a recent editorial.) Mrs. Obama has also emphasized the need to reduce the consumption of sugar, salt and fat in her fight to improve school lunches as part of her Lets Move initiative against childhood obesity...

The Big Mooch has a poverty of the soul.
She screws us out of one multi-million dollar vacation after another but still hates herself and who she is.
She blames us and America for her discontent but will never be at peace with herself no matter how much she steals from taxpayers and no matter how many innocent children she gets to boss around.
I agree. I know it would irritate me if I cared about such things. And if I were the FLOTUS, I’d care. I dislike Michelle Obama very much, I think she’s an anti-white racist, but I’m not 100% unsympathetic to her. She is a big gal and that can be a pain in a lot of ways.
Myself, personally, I was always resolved to never marry a man who was better looking than me. (How vain is that?!)
Moochie loves dogggies.
She’s against white potatoes, white sugar and white salt. What a racist! And I’m not trying to be funny. If all those foods were black they’d be on her “must have” list.
I’ll bet she’s going to be one big cow a few years down the road.
Ii agree with your comments. I really don’t consider Mrs. Obama overweight, she has a big frame. She will never b 5’2 and 100 pounds! I am sure it has been something she has struggled with her whole life. And being with super-skinny Obama does not help. Also, telling others how to eat is going to make them focus on your size even more so!!!
I agree..never marry a man better looking OR thinner.....LOL!
I love how people who think Columbus Day shouldn’t be celebrated chow down big time on Italian food.
Ill bet shes going to be one big cow a few years down the road.

....and don't get me started about the 50 grams of sugar.
And I bet just one of their purses cost more than Mooch’s entire ensemble.
I’m so shocked I could plotz.
wasted flight time on the wrong people......
They took a whole bunch of pounds and ugly off her.
Check out the length of her arms compared to the two absolutely gorgeous, normal people. Her arms are at least a hands length longer than theirs if you look at the length compared to the wides part of the hips.
Her problems are not fixable but could be made better if she dressed correctly. Her posture is just out and out horrible. She’s always hunched.
What has happened to Reggie’s seat on AF!?
Thanks for the ping!
