In a civics survey, more American teenagers were able to name The Three Stooges (Larry, Moe and Curly) than the three branches of the federal government (executive, legislative and judicial). That's hard to believe, since the Three Stooges performed their last act about a half a century ago. And there were actually five Stooges--Larry, Moe, Shemp, Curly and Curly Joe.
