‘speech is a substitute for strategy’

A recent TV Special on JFK noted that Kennedy, prior to being elected President, had discovered that “Words are more important than deeds”. I was shocked that the producers of that program (who were obviously pro-JFK) would admit that.

This pretty much sums up Democrats’ strategy. About everything. Including: running the country, running a war, running a campaign, running an economy, etc. Make a speech, tell a lie - that’s all that matters in their minds.
