My daughter and I recently went to an outdoor concert featuring Don Felder (formerly of the Eagles), Foreigner, and Styx. Big crowd, drinking, maybe pot. Didn't see any fights or problems. It was all white people with the exception of two black security staff. Had a great time.

“The amphitheatre website says the concert featured Nas, Schoolboy Q and Flying Lotus. All are rappers.”

Rappers at a rap concert? Who knew?

It'd be news if there weren't any shootings or stabbings at a rap concert.

Rap concerts are right down there near the bottom of my todo list, just above tourism in Sudan.

“Walking through forests of palm tree apartments
Scoff at the monkeys who live in their dark tents
Down by the waterhole, drunk every Friday
Eating their nuts, saving their raisins for Sunday
Lions and tigers who wait in the shadows
They’re fast but they’re lazy, and sleep in green meadows

Well, let’s bungle in the jungle
Well, that’s all right by me, yes.......”

It's a lot like comparing Occupy Wall street to a Tea Party rally.

Occupy=rapes, heroin ODs,millions spent by the City of New York to disinfect the area after they left.

Tea Party=no rapes,no heroin ODs,not even a gum wrapper on the ground after the crowd leaves.
