“including restricting entry to the U.S. by Uganda officials involved in anti-LGBT human rights abuses.”

Obama will have to deny access to the new head of the UN assembly in order to do that. If he does so, there will be a backlash of fury across sub-Saharan Africa dwarfing what we have seen so far. Pure left wing imperialism.

It would distress me to see all of the African teams abandon the World Cup...

As a native Ugandan, lived all my life in this beautiful country, what pains me most is the lies that we are hurting homosexuals (yes, they’re not gay). The saddest part of the lies spewed by Human Rights Watch and Amnesty Internationl are not tested for truth but just regurgitated wholesale by international mainstream media. But then, it’s all part of the great big homosexual agenda.

No one has been murdered or physically attacked for being a homosexual. Our laws reflect our societal choices just like any other society. Incest and polygamy, even when consential, are socially unacceptable in the US. To preserve that, the state criminalised them. We have done nothing different regarding homosexuality. If the US will not accept this, we respect that. What we won’t take is the lies that suggest that we are attacking homosexual people.

Please, task your government to produce real and independently verifiable proof that homosexuals are in danger of violence in Uganda. The law is clear: you should not get caught in homosexual sexual acts or actively promoting homosexuality. Your business is yours - no ‘pride’ parades etc. We have lived with homosexuals in our society for ages. Though we have disagreed with their lifestyle, we have left them alone. Thanks to the homosexual movement’s actions to make it ‘normal’ we have countered that with a new legal framework. But that is all. Actually the claims of violence against homosexuals is a since case of wishful thinking. They are hoping and wishing attack homosexuals so that they say “you see!”. No, no, no, Ugandans are not lynching homosexuals. The US government is lying to its people and being disrespectful to Ugandans. Make them answer for this! (sorry for the rant).
