President Barrack Obama nominated San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro to be Secretary of Housing and Urban Development on May 23rd in spite of his city’s alleged misuse of funds from that same federal department. The acceptance of the nomination by Castro marks a departure in the navigational path of this rapidly rising Democrat rising star.
The Washington Post reported on May 23rd that this move may signal the Democrats plan to turn Texas blue may be struggling under the leadership of Wendy Davis and Castro now needs to find another pathway to the top of a Democrats future presidential ticket. Castro’s twin brother, Joaquin, who is now a U.S. Representative, told the New York Times in 2010, “I can see a path to Washington for Julián. That path leads through the governor’s mansion in Austin. A Democrat who can win the governorship of Texas would automatically be under consideration for a spot on the national ticket.”

Exactly. They know if they can get them here and voting, they will surely vote for him.
I think people are tired of slick young Marxists running the country. I think dems and republicans and independents would vote for anyone that stands up and says he wants to protect the borders and care for AMERICAN citizens FIRST, including all those that are citizens thru the legal channel. Someone who gets tough and says that we welcome anyone here but you must do it legally like the ones before you have and you must go back to your own country and apply for citizenship the legal way and then close the border and deport all these people that are invading the USA. If the Hispanics don’t like it, then too bad. They still aren’t a large % of legal voters.

This nomination was not “in spite of his city’s alleged misuse of funds from that same federal department”, it was because of Castro’s massive corruption. Being a hard-core criminal is a prerequisite for getting a nomination from the thug in our White House.
The Castro twins are La Raza brats and both are corrupt and lean toward Communism like their mama.
Guess that makes Castro a perfect fit for an Obama Cabinet position. He’s from a similar mold as the other Sctys. there.
