Breitbart Big Government ^ | June 13, 2014 | Matthew Boyle

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg donated $250,000 to the pro-Thad Cochran super PAC “Mississippi Conservatives” in late May, Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings the organization provided show.

Bloomberg’s donation to the Super PAC supporting Cochran could end up becoming a kiss of death for Cochran in the heated runoff against conservative state Sen. Chris McDaniel, who bested Cochran in the popular vote in the primary a little over a week ago, forcing a runoff a week from Tuesday.

Nothing says conservatism in Mississippi quite like Michael Bloomberg.

Ping.

Apparently the ‘gift’ was in late May. They didn’t think there’d be another campaign filing because they thought they’d win. Surprise.

I'll see your $250K, Bloomie. I just sent another $25 to Chris McDaniel.

Support Chris McDaniel to oust Thad Cochran in MS

Good to see this reporting by Boyle at Breitbart. Bloomie?! Srsly?! And to Cochran(?!) who 'says' he's against all of Bloomies' pet issues?

Based on this contribution, I hope that Boyle asks Bloomie ... Do you condemn your guy Cochran's "indecent animal abuse?!" And will you ask for your contribution back?

The headline makes it sound as if Bloomberg dumped a bunch of money into the Mississippi River. THAT would be a good thing.

It looks like McDaniels is surging. Big Gulp Mike might as well have done just that, for all the effect it may have.

I was listening to Glenn Beck just a few minutes ago and he played a clip of Thad Cochran saying something to the effect if he loses he will just go back to the farm AND DO TO THE ANIMALS WHAT PEOPLE DO. Wink! Wink!

Bloomberg was a Democrat before he ran for the NYC mayorship. He couldn’t get on the Dem line so he used his money to buy the Republican line, and also ran on the Liberal party line. After his first term he ran also on the Independent party line.

Bloomberg officially dropped out of the Republican party because he couldn’t buy the nomination.

So here you have Cockroach accepting dirty money from an anti gun, tree hugging, soda hating kook.

Hey Thad we know your desperate to hang on to your seat, but, for your own dignity, give Bloomberg his money back or live in shame as an unprincipled RINO.

Sounds like old Thad has caught himself a case of bovine spongiform encephalopathy.

Dementia is a later stage symptom.

Michael Bloomberg that crafty little devil. Pretending that he is a gun grabbing liberal all the while secretly supporting the campaigns of true blue, anti big government conservatives like Thad Cochran. Brilliant.

Cochran and Bloomberg. On to VICTORY!!!

“By the way, where are the liberals complaining about the EXCESSIVE MONEY in politics?????”

The old double standard - a favorite of Dems and RINOs alike.

His handlers figured he’d win the primary before this information had to be released. the tack then would have been ‘what’re you gonna do about it? vote for Childers?’.

etc.

Typical GOPe sliminess.
