Putin has more class in his little finger than the mulatto bastard in the White House

I went to the link hoping to see the portrait, and all I saw was a picture of Putin. I already know what he looks like...

The portrait was painted by well-known artist Ilya Glazunov. Not much of his art visible online, but what is there looks interesting. It’s pretty obviously Russian, with a fair amount of Romanticism and just a hint of the “flat” look that characterizes medieval artwork, particularly in his faces.

I wonder if “O” sent birthday greetings to the former President.
If not, it’s too bad “O” has to get lessons in class from Putin.

The man who rides horses and shoots and wrestles and such of course respects and honors the 90 year-old who jumps out of an airplane.

Sorry,my opinion for Bush The Elder took a big drop when he recently accepted that Profiles In Cowardice Award from that filthiest,*filthiest* of families...the Kennedys.

Yep, and I have a LOT more respect for the first President Bush, even more so since yesterday when for his 90th birthday, he skydive. :)

Putin will likely send Obama a 6 pack of stale malt liquor for his birthday.
It's pretty obvious that Putin respects GHWB, not so much BHO.

Very classy thing to do but I don’t think we want to take warm showers together with Putty.

I have to wonder what the former CIA chief and KGB Lt Col would have to talk about if they ever met privately. Putin joined the KGB during Bush's time as CIA chief so they wouldn't have been on the same level at all. Question though is where did Vlad get the portrait? Was it painted from a photo in the KGB file for Bush?

GHW Bush showed the world what the US military is, and what it can do. He put together a coalition of nations, told the world what he was going to do, then did exactly what he said we would do. Then we left.
Putin the warrior watched as Russian equipment manned by Russian trained troops got destroyed in the most one sided battle in history. GHW Bush earned Putin's respect. And mine too.
