Don’t disagree but offer one addl point - I think we could help with air support and drones without boots on the ground.

My guess is the boots-on-the-ground military is on its rear end with fatigue and cuts and not ready to act with equipment or manpower in any necessary numbers
the Harvard azzhats churning out military strategy prefer to fight from 35,000 feet and call it close air support
or send in 50 Spec Ops to do the job of a division, when they get whacked its no great loss (literally)
