In yet another spat between the Bureau of Land Management and residents of a western state, Utah is suing the federal agency after it unlawfully foreclosed oil and gas leasing on unprotected lands. Utahs litigation alleges that the BLM is imposing wilderness criteria on lands outside designated wilderness and wilderness study areas. Uintah County and the Utah Association of Counties is joining the suit, claiming that they have been left out of key management decisions.

Use eminent domain to take the land from the Federal government. The States can certainly claim an economic need for taking it.
I am actually against eminent domain laws, but it won’t change until the laws are used against the powerful.
Yet another illegal federal power grab.
An Obama administration hallmark.
The state should by eminent domain tell the Feds that a highway or a road needs to be placed in those areas, for public welfare and fire control, and by the way ? how about that, we can place drilling pads conventionality next to those roads.... God sure does work in strange ways.

If a president can make executive orders, why can’t a subsequent president make executive orders undoing previous executive orders...?
