....Obama Tuesday suggested that the U.S. government should follow Australias example in dealing with shooting sprees, which involved strict gun bans on semiautomatic and automatic weapons.
Australia had a mass shooting [in 1996] similar to Columbine and Newtown, and just said, Thats it, were not seeing that again, and basically imposed very severe tough gun laws and they havent had a mass shooting since, Obama said, after he was asked for his reaction to recent shooting episodes in California and Oregon. Those laws included the confiscation of nearly all handguns and rifles.

Hmmmm. Still lookin' at the Aussie "constitution" for their 2nd amendment portion but just can't seem to find it. OH! Duh. The downunder-ers had no such thing as a right that the government couldn't interfere with. Maybe obie's just pissed at the new PM of Australia who is trying to build a coalition to thwart his climate plans. After all, according to the lyin'king, the military's new battle will be against climate change. Unhinged? Uh, yeah.

Britain has a low homicide rate, but it has the highest violent crime rate in the EU, a violent crime rate that is higher than South African, and much higher than the United States. The only first-world nation with a higher violent crime rate than Britain is Australia, a nation that also banned and confiscated firearms, stripping its people of their ability to defend themselves from violent criminals.
But for people who only care about body counts, all the muggings, rapes, home-invasions and carjackings that happen to deliberately defenseless citizens is of no consequence.

I honestly hope Obama really is stupid enough to go rabid left and push for a full “Australian Style” gun ban, right before an election in which is party will rise or fall on the fate of several red state Democrat senators....

Incrementalism Part I
Don’t dare him to pick up the pen or there will be more shootings after people hear voices in their head. All liberal progressive types too.

The ONLY deadly weapon is an assaultive intent.
It will always find a means to carry out its compulsion.

I think that the rate of black on white rape and murder was very low when slavery was being practiced.
Therefore, if we are going to go down the path of abridging civil liberties in order to ensure safety, let’s start there.

If Barry were one of us he would know that comparing America to Australia is `apples & oranges'.
Ned Kelleys were the exception Down Under. Come and get `em, big boy.

Mosul didn’t fall to ISIS without 0’s help. I fear there’s a connection between 0’s plans for us and ISIS’ rise.

BREAKING NEWS: Obama has decided that since bullets travel at high rates of speed, and can go to high altitudes, that is makes sense to have them regulated by the FAA. From now on, one needs to have proper approval from the FAA when buying ammunition. Sending a bullet through the air will also require FAA approval.

The US needs a ban on communist foreign usurpers occupying the White House.
The US needs a ban on “gun control” laws.
Oh, yes: we have both. It’s called the Constitution. Following it would be a good idea.
