LA schools to launch new summer lunch program

The Los Angeles Unified School District wants to disprove the old saying that there's no free lunch.

The district on Thursday said it will serve free lunches through summer to children and the disabled at 317 school campuses along with 105 parks and recreation centers.

District Director of Food Services David Binkle says he expects the program to dish out 4.5 million meals.

It is true there is study lot of fruit and vegetables are throw out by the kids they don’t want their fruit and veggies

But the question is do the lunches conform to Michelle O’s requirements? If so, there may be few takers. Afterall, most of the families of the kids who would qualify for the free lunch are already receiving foodstamps. So instead of eating lunch at school they can get their lunch at McDonalds or 7-11. Heaven forbid that their parents actually provide a meal for their offspring!

Back when I was a kid, the government propaganda told us how the Soviets took children from their families at the age of 12 so that they could be indoctrinated as proper communists.
