Yup. For fun, whenever gold comes up in conversation I tell people to google the words gold, China and Tungsten together for a good laugh.

I wish I could find the link to it, but there is actually a company in China that will make fake gold coins and bars for you. As noted in the article, they coat tungsten with a thin layer of gold.

Of course, the Chinese company says that their products are for "novelty" purposes only.
