Today should have been a day of celebration at the end of the school year here at Seattle Pacific University; instead it's a day of tragedy and of loss. Once again, the epidemic of gun violence has come to Seattle the epidemic of gun violence that is haunting this nation.

Sounds to me like this guy is rushing to judgement.
Shouldn’t he wait for all of the “facts” to come in before opening his pie hole?
In a “gun-free zone”, as always.
Gun violence. What a stupid and ignorant term. Only good for political posturing.
No mayor, no gun entered your town and became violent. A human being did that, You had an epidemic of human violence. But go ahead be an asshat and d=say gun violence
He had a shotgun. Are they going to ban shotguns in America? This is just the usual liberal grandstanding to cover up the real danger in the country, young mentally ill liberals. Dollars to doughnuts he is a registered Democrat.
A$$hole politicians just have to keep proving that they are the filth of the earth, not all of them but a very large percentage of them.
A student armed with pepper spray and a strong faith in the lord put an end to to bad guys afternoon.
From the Seattle Times:
As the gunman stopped to reload his weapon in blood-splattered Miller Hall, Meis, 22, a senior engineering student from Renton, saw an opportunity, his roommate said Thursday night.
Meis, who was working at the time as a monitor who sits at a desk in the lobby, near the Halls front door, quickly moved in to pepper-spray the gunman, then he tackled him to the ground. Police arriving moments later moved in to handcuff and arrest the suspect, other witnesses said.
Jon Mesi is a Hero
Basically in this country some deranged Democratic party voting whack job shoots some place up, then some Democratic party propagandist demagogs the 2A issue. Too bad our side is stuck in the mud and refuses to actually do any thinking or has any guts to mention this fact of whack job libtards and their murder sprees.
From the witnesses that were interviewed it sounded like the guy was “normal” (what ever that means these days).
I’d bet he was high on some drug when the shooting started. Glad he was taken down before it got worse.
You have summarized the following article very well!

Normal for that area means either a Kos or DU log in avatar and password. That San Fran D party hack Richard Chamberlain was a D party activist and a chemist brewing up Ricin looking to commit mass murder, but the media propagandists have shoved that down a hole and the conservatives are basically clueless on how exploit these unpleasant facts of D party pathology.
The Seattle Pacific University shooter, Aaron Ybarra, used a shotgun in his shooting mayhem. I guess we are going to eliminate all bird hunting in order to cut down on this epidemic of gun violence. Of course, Seattle is being run by sissy city slickers who put on makeup and silk underwear. Seattle’s gay mayor, Ed Murray (D), probably never heard of crazy Joe Biden’s remark: Well, you know, my shotgun will do better for you than your AR-15, because you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door.
Dick Cheney, Seattle needs—this nation needs—your voice of reason!
Hey. That’s jojo biden’s weapon of choice so how can they possibly rail against it? Oh, never mind. I forgot. Liblogic.
“Are they going to ban shotguns in America?”
If they could, they would. Except of course for the political class who could get “permits”.
BTW there are no shotguns and hunting rifles, only “riot guns” and “sniper rifles”.
... that has declined over the last 40 years, to come to rest at its lowest rate in a century.
Any violent death is a tragedy, but this is no more an epidemic than the common cold.
How many people got shot in Chicago yesterday?
