The recession was over a long time ago.
It has been a full-blown depression since about 2010 or so. And if anybody recalls anything about the Great Depression, it was much worse in 1938, than it was in 1932, precisely BECAUSE of the “National Recovery Act” and the “New Deal”.
The extended recession of the time would have been over by 1935 if NOTHING had been done. But NOOOO, they had to keep trying to “fix” things.
Hey, it was working for Mussolini in Italy and Hitler in Germany.
It is all very simple actually.
When more people are riding in the wagon and less pushing the wagon, the wagon will slow down every time. May even stop moving or go backwards on a up slope.
Simple facts are that many more people are dependent on government checks now compared to Jan 2009. Law of physics are eternal.
Some recovery! The price of everything has skyrocketed. I don’t consider that much of a recovery at all.
