Thanks. I think the critics need to reread the story of the Prodigal Son.More like “sleepy” needs to re-read it too, because the protagonist of that parable was repentant. Neither Bergdahl (father or son) are examples of repentance, and nobody got killed while searching for the prodigal son.
The son chose to go back. I think this guy was surprised to find himself sent back. The circumstances are so different between what is being compared. This is not even halfway close.
