With his movie career fading into commercial and critical mediocrity and a wedding in sight, 53 year-old left-wing Democrat George Clooney is apparently ready to try politics. The Mirror reports that Clooney's lovely fiancée, British attorney Amal Alamuddin, has convinced Clooney to launch a career in politics after their wedding. Apparently, this career-switch will begin in earnest during the 2016 election.

LOL! Purty durn sad. Even sadder is that this assclown could get elected somewhere. If he fails, at least he could be announced/posted as the new head of NASA. After all, he played an astronaut one time.

Definitively anti-Israel, which very likely translates to anti-American as well.

He’s arrogant, stupid but convinced he’s a genius, and he enjoys using other people.

Clooney should make a fine Democrat!

Egads, another Hollywood, liberal, just what we need.
Just because they played big men on the screen, they think lofty speeches and looking good is all there is.
They are EMPTY people without a script.

Somebody will have to replace Jerry Brown or Dianne Feinstein at some point.

I wouldn’t expect Clooney to go back to Kentucky where he grew up.

imagine George thinking being hooked up to wikileaks-rapist Julian Assange’s defense attorney (a leading “human rights” lawyer) is a resume builder for public office

I think we’re gonna play “Drink” every time his “campaign” spouts the words “Human rights”

I’ve read that Clooney loves the bottle and has the IQ of a brussel’s sprout, so maybe he is qualified to hold office

Yeah, I remember Alec Baldwin saying the same thing last year...

While it would be horrible to see this prick in office, do realize the truth (and it applies to the whole Hollywierd set) what Steven Wynn said about him last year:

“Artists, actors, people like that, they live in a very strange bubble of their own. They’re molly coddled, they’re highly privileged. We’re talking about successful artists like George, or Barbra Streisand or any other really successful performing artist. They live in a relatively small world. The people around them are very solicitous and caring for them. They have a world view that therefore everything should be given to everybody because everything has been given to them."

George C. Looney. Surrounded by Yes men and Yes women. So obviously he's always right, no?
