After outlining his vision for United States foreign policy to during his West Point commencement address on Wednesday morning, Barack Obama asserted, "This is American leadership. This is American strength."
"In each case, we built coalitions to respond to a specific challenge. Now we need to do more to strengthen the institutions that can anticipate and prevent them from spreading," Obama continued in reference to the United States handling of Iran, Syria and the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
"For example, NATO is the strongest alliance the world has ever known. But we are now working with NATO allies to meet new missions – within Europe, where our Eastern allies must be reassured; and also beyond Europe’s borders, where our NATO allies must pull their weight to counter-terrorism, respond to failed states, and train a network of partners."

I noticed the applause greeting “The One” was rather tepid.
This sounds like an SNL skit.
The ‘whistle while ya walk by the cemetery late at night’ lamp is lit.
How many more will he allow to be ground up like so much grist in the mill? sacrificed in an act of ‘soft’ power?
His audience had best listen to his every word.
Their lives and all of ours depend on it.

His speech to the WP grads was more of a lecture. It was so boring that even FoxNews broke away to Rove commentary and commercials.
It was words on paper and he presented it as such. Very little enthusiasm for what he was reading — meaning, he didn’t even believe much of what he was reading.

He claimed the Russian not invading Ukraine was a direct success of his foreign policy.

It’s a bad place and time to make a major policy address. These young men and women have already achieved more than Obama by completing a course to serve their country. Get your sorry butt off the stage and go back and play golf.
