Governments Await Obama’s Move on Carbon to Gauge U.S. Climate Efforts
New York Slimes ^ | 5/26/2014 | Coral Davenport

President Obama is expected to announce on Monday [moved to sometime next week. ed] an Environmental Protection Agency regulation to cut carbon pollution from the nation’s 600 coal-fired power plants, in a speech that government analysts in Beijing, Brussels and beyond will scrutinize to determine how serious the president is about fighting global warming.

The regulation will be Mr. Obama’s most forceful effort to reverse 20 years of relative inaction on climate change by the United States, which has stood as the greatest obstacle to international efforts to slow the rise of heat-trapping gases from burning coal and oil that scientists say cause warming. Continue reading the main story The president had tried, without success, to move a climate change bill through Congress in his first term, and such legislation would now stand no chance of getting past the resistance of Republican lawmakers who question the science of climate change. So Mr. Obama is taking a controversial step: He is using his executive authority under the 1970 Clean Air Act to issue an E.P.A. regulation taking aim at coal-fired power plants, the nation’s largest source of carbon pollution.

If America “had a dream” to live prosperous and free,
Then the dream must killed, and consumed you see.
The Obamavultures continue feasting, while Boehner sits still,
“Both” parties know our pain as required collateral damage to fulfill.

What word did our Doormat Republicans not understand,
When Obama was first crowned The Tyrant of the Land?
Was it “Fundamentally” or “Transform” or “The United States of America?”

Why are these confused Leader Doormat Republicans still kept in power?
Why haven’t our TEA Party House Members sent Boehner to the back bench?
What does it take be it Benghazi, NSA, IRS, DOJ, or Delay to Death of our Vets?
Who are the Patriot House Members of “both” Parties to vote out Boehner?

When do We, the People rise up and declare that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!?
When do our elected House Members stand and deliver?
When does the well-deserved Impeachment of Obama begin?
When do our House Constitutional Checks and Balances kick in?

Back in DC, things are as calm as can be,
Obama lies, frames, blames, denies and delays,
Allowing the Obamavultures to feast as before,
While Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, Ryan, and Issa,
Hold open the race to the bottom door - - - -.

It is time, - - - - time a change in 2014.

China emits twice as much CO2 as we do. No propaganda here.

Analysts in Beijing want to know if Obama is serious?

Beijing? The capital of a country where a new coal-fired power plant is opened every three days? WTF!

Bizarro world.

*President Dictator. If this isn't out and out tyranny, please tell me what is? *

If it's not tyranny, it's certainly insanity!

Chaplin was Nostradamus-like in his prediction of Obama on the issue of Global Warming:

Well, time will tell if any of these new rules actually stand. The rules don’t go into effect until the 2015 / 2016 time frame. You can bet that there will be a truck load of law suits filed immediately. That should push back the implementation time a good bit. Since they are rules and not legislation a Republican president in 2016 (assuming we get one) could simply suspend the rules indefinately while dismantling the EPA. If this Republican president were to be lucky enough to have a Republican house and senate, they could then amend the Clean Air Act to specifically state that it does not include carbon dioxide. It shouldn’t take 60 Republican senators to get that done either. Harry Reid has set the precedent for eliminating the filibuster so I would suggest that it include all legislation not just some judicial appoinments. Of course the Donks will scream but then again, elections have consequences.

OBAMA: “You know, when I was asked earlier about the issue of coal, uh, you know — Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Even regardless of what I say about whether coal is good or bad. Because I’m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it — whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, uh, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers.”

China, like most other non-western countries have REALLY poor environmental or worker safety laws.

Due to their poor mining practices, coal mine fires are started and are very difficult to put out. Just in their coal mine fires, China puts out more CO2 a year than all U.S. cars and trucks!

Then add in their heavy use of coal-fired plants.

Of course even that doesn’t matter with regard to global warming - the C02 that humans add is something like .2% of effective greenhouse gases. (They really should be called “green back” gases the way the gov’t deals with them.)

The GOP wing of the Uniparty will do no such thing. When it is unwilling to take on the most despised statute in modern American history, Obamacare, I guarantee they'll never find the “courage” to dismantle the EPA.
