Poroshenko vows to retain east Ukraine

Billionaire oligarch Petro Poroshenko says he would not let rebel-held east Ukraine become another Somalia as he prepared to take over the presidency with a clear signal from Moscow that it is ready to work with his government.

Poroshenko has moved swiftly to stamp his authority as Ukraine's new leader after claiming victory in Sunday's presidential election, with partial results showing he trounced his rivals in the first round.

He said Ukraine would press on with an offensive to crush the pro-Russian separatists waging an insurgency in the eastern industrial belt, despite Moscow warning it would be a "colossal mistake".

"There are no talks with terrorists," the pro-Western tycoon and veteran politician told reporters on Monday.

"Their goal is to turn Donbass (east Ukraine) into Somalia. I will not let anyone do this to our state and I hope that Russia will support my approach."

"We consider that the winner of the election is president of west Ukraine - he is a half president," said pro-Russian presidential candidate Oleh Tsarov.

What percent of the vote did Oleh get?

Billionaire oligarch Petro Poroshenko

That says it all right there. In store for the Ukrainians - Globalism, mountains of debt, crony corporatism, massive Third world immigration, official oppression, regulations by non-elected Globalist bureaucracies, homosex-ed for five year olds, and this guy:

In addition to the political challenges ahead, Poroshenko will have to set in motion painful austerity measures that world lenders are demanding in return for $US27 billion ($A29.21 billion) in aid to prevent bankruptcy.

Poor suckers these Ukrainians...

The biggest gangster oligarch is KGB Putin himself who has looted billions from Russia and hidden it in Switzerland and Lichtenstein. Nobody in the world is more corrupt than the Russians.

Somalia is a Muslim state. Google “tartars ukraine” to get a perspective on the conflict.

Commies hate austerity measures. They never want to pay off their debts. Just like the commies here in the USA.

Ohio senator calls Ukraine elections legitimate
Portman, mentioned as a potential Republican presidential candidate in 2016, adopted a much tougher stance on Ukraine than President Barack Obama, declaring that Ukrainian membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization should be “a goal,” although he conceded that Ukraine is “probably not ready yet to meet the criteria that NATO has for membership.”

He also called on Russia to return Crimea, a province on the Black Sea annexed last March by Putin. And he spoke of a bill he is sponsoring to send anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons to Ukraine, a move the Obama administration has so far rejected.

Russia’s population is 17% muslim. Millions of Tatars live in Russia and Putin just gave Russian citizenship to thousands more in Crimea. Russian muslim terrorists from the Caucasus are waging jihad against Christian Ukraine.

The seizure of the airport suggested a new, perhaps desperate, escalation by the militants who in recent days have appeared to lose the political support of the Kremlin, which indicated that it would respect the results of Sunday’s election.

"I would not like to think this is the start of a new Cold war. It is in no one's interest and I think it will not happen," said Putin

Incorrect heading for the video above.

Apparently, these people were shot by a national guard group in Novoaydar, north of Lugansk, NOT the airport.

“Ukraine Forces Appear to Oust Rebels From Airport in East”

Conflicting information, and the times is hours behind

Earlier reports sai “Battalion Vostok” was counter-attacking the Airport during the storm, just after dark, and now this tweet a few minutes ago:

“Lifenews confirms that Donetsk militia took control of the airport.”

Now, does that mean they took it last night? Or that they retook it today?

Other recent tweets say the Rebels have withdrawn about 1/2 mile from the airport, and are holding a line at the “Zasyadko mine and hospital #18”

Poroshenko wants to be the Ukrainian Gorbachev. He will be the last President of a unitary Ukraine if he presses on with the Maidan policies.

He was elected by voters in Ivano-Frankovsk and Lvov. They can keep him.

As I said last night, now the dangerous period has begun.

Differing reports about what is happening in Donetsk right now make it hard to divine the truth. One thing is for sure, though. The Maidan Twitterbot Army has suddenly come alive, all repeating the same exact statements.

They are easy to pick out if you search twitter via Bing, and not using the Twitter search.

It doesn’t matter who did/did not vote for Poroshenko. I said last night that he had ONE chance to get this right.

Pay close attention to what the Russians have to say in the morning. That will tell the tale, I think.
