The judiciary is decidedly leftist, these guys are activists too. If the good judges remain silent, the activists are in charge
The judiciary is decidedly intellectual elitist. Amongst older jurists who tend to be at the Federal Appellate level, conservative jurists are able to hold their own. SCOTUS is hanging by a 5-4 thread. The conservative faction of federal courts could all collapse very quickly.
