Our military succeeded as well as it did in the past because:
1. Our young people were rural and familiar with the outdoors
2. they could shoot, as a matter of course, usually
3. they were in good physical condition

Except for a very small minority, the younger generation are:
1. afraid of reality and escape into fantasy
2. so out of shape as to break a sweat reaching for the remote
3. so indoctrinated to be victims as to be totally worthless in an emergency/survival situation.

But our criminal element; they’re alive and well.
Especially the white collar/political class scum.

This guy needs to look in the mirror when he is blaming anyone and everyone but himself. I hope he doesn’t have it on his conscience that he didn’t take the kid to Sunday School and Church, pray with him about his problems. He needs to seek Christian counseling before others (if there are any) in the family go the same way. Not judging but it is evident Jesus is the answer for ALL OF OUR PROBLEMS. The answers may not be what we want but in due time we see His Ways.

The poor father is mentally ill at this point. Discount everything he says.

He’s blaming politicians and the NRA. He was much closer to the situation than politicians or the NRA. He FAILED.

Politicians and the NRA aren’t responsible for teaching his child morals and values. We know what the son valued from the videos. This father FAILED.

Well, it's the gun's fault, of course. And since this unfortunate father lost his son, everyone in
the entire country except the JBTs has to give up their weapons. </s>

May God help this idiot when some armed home-invasion robber kills him and ransacks his
house. He will have to answer the Deity as to why he disarmed himself and thus lost the life
God gave him.

Our first right is that of life, and it is our duty to protect it, since the JBTs have abdicated that
responsibility in favor of murdering innocents who do not obey them.

The father knows full well that his son has an ongoing mental disorder supposedly being treated by mental health professionals. The firearm license would never have been issued has the gun store known.

The failure is in the inadequacy of the mental health care professionals.

The father was an assistant director on a film series - “Hunger Games” - in which the main plot line is teenagers murdering other teenagers.

That about says it all.

He sure is talkative for a man whose son just murdered others and then himself. Just sayin’.

I heard the guy on the news this morning. Sorry but I know my guns (or wife's or our boys' guns) didn't kill his son. It was a disturbed person who killed him. Should the people who LEGALLY own guns be punished? No.

Today I read that a man killed his wife and himself by jumping in front of a train. Liberals might ban trains soon, because trains do kill. People will go nuts and kill people, either with guns, a train, an automobile, an axe or anything else.

Banning guns will not make us safer...it will make CRIMINALS safer.

California...that is the keyword. Fruits and nuts...

I saw this on a new lock: 'The state of California say that this product contains material that might cause cancer...' Are you going to EAT the cable and lock? California, life might cause cancer! You are not going to eat the metal lock and cable.

Another reason why prices are so high... moronic laws on packages...

When you bring a child into this world and don’t spend any time raising them, this is the result. This young man was never taught that just because you have to do without something, you have to be grown up enough to bear it. He is thinking selfishly. This is great because you get to see his thought processes throughout! He was nothing but spoiled!

Someone made the (very good) point on another thread that instead of buying the kid a BMW, the parents should have gotten the kid a hooker.

NRA is responsible for those who were shot. AAA is to blame for the murdered cyclist. NKCA (National Knife Collectors Association) caused the lad to stab the others to death. < /lib>

I didn’t get the story at first either, I guess this is a father of one of the victims NOT the father of Elliot Rodger, the killer.
