John Cornyn Publicly Mocks Popular Texas Tea Party Leader

Last night Texas Republican Senator John Cornyn took to Twiiter(sic) to attack former Texas House candidate and popular Tea Party activist Katrina Pierson.

"That tweet was completely unprovoked," Pierson told Breitbart Texas. "With all the tweets Cornyn gets, why would he respond to that one? He was digging at me personally."

It is unclear if the tweet was written by a staffer or by Cornyn himself, but according to Pierson, Cornyn said in the past that he controls his own account. "We all know that John Cornyn runs his own Twitter account," Pierson said. "He tells people, 'Just contact me, I run my own Twitter.'"

Dallas-based radio talk show host Mark Davis tweeted claimed that he received "confirmation" that it was Cornyn, not a staffer, who wrote the message.

Cornyn may have won the primary, but he'll have to win or lose the general election without my vote. His cloture vote for Reid's removal of the debt limit was the last straw.

Cornyn is just another “Doormat Republican,” OWKA an “Obama Democrat” when the voting starts.

I meant to add in my post the following:

Sessions defeated Kitrina by something like +63% to +36%
thus the response about doing so good against Sessions.

Texas GOP voters had a chance to send Cornyn packing, but too many voted for more of the same or stayed home. At least 1/4 Million voted for Congressman Steve Stockman, but not quite enough to force a runoff election.

I suspect if you could plant a microphone in the Senate cloak room you could get a really good idea of what McConnell, Cornyn, Alexander, Graham, McCain, Collins, etc., etc. feel about those pesky conservatives and Tea Partiers.

It's impossible to vote against him. I did however, vote for his challenger in the primary. I won't be voting for Cornyn in general election.
