The Umpire that matters has to be in the heart. If it’s mere men, the nodding and winking goes right on, albeit couched in the most erudite words.
It’s that old fashioned Christ Jesus, savior of sinners. Perfection on earth isn’t needed to show great fruit to the good on earth.
We don’t even need more guns as much as we need more gospel. Those who thought they could put hell off till eternity are finding they are getting hell right in this world.
They act all surprised when they turn their back to G_d and walk away and end up there!
