In the outpouring of praise for William D. Cohan's new book "The Price of Silence"a work, remarkably enough, being celebrated as a model of evenhandedness, scrupulous objectivity, etc.one essential has gone overlooked. Namely, the central point of this tale about the Duke lacrosse case and accusations against three players of rape and assault at a house party. It takes no close reading to see that the book is meant to recast the story so as to nullify the outcome Americans thought they knew

When Dorothy’s on the beat, you can bet the truth will come out.
TRUTH???
Whaaaaaaaat “truth”??
Wee don’ neeed no steeenking troooth!!!
Publicized on NPR.
Why am I not surprised ?
Dorothy deserves a Pulitzer for exposing this liar.
Both Dorothy and KC Johnson did a magnificent job exposing this railroading.
Knowing the Left, Cohan will be the one getting awards for his book
I once rode in the elevator with Dorothy. It was at the Harvard Law School where KC Johnson was giving a talk about the Duke case. I would have liked to have said something to her but she was surrounded by more than a dozen admirers - and I had the feeling some of them were body guards or perhaps just protecting her from admirers.
Whether America can be saved after four generations of Pooblik Skrewl Collective education is about to be determined. Is the remnant of the voting population familiar with the core concepts of America large enough? Or has the generations of communist teaching produced a population of GibsMeDat welfare clients unfit to rule themselves.
I must note the ever increasing percentage of blacks, Latrinos, welfare clients, and Government Trough Feeders who now depend on transfer payments and whose loyalty is to their transfer payment, rather than to America.
Can't continue, IMHO.
The AG of North Carolina, Roy Cooper, refused to bring charges against Crystal Mangum for her false accusations. He stated it was because Mangum had ‘mental issues’ and it would do not good to charge her.
Of course she later went on to kill her boyfriend - so it might have done some good. It might have saved her boyfriend’s life.
Given the nature of today's liberal, I can understand how one would write an entire book about what they wish had been -- as opposed to what actually was.
What I can't understand is how it got published...
Preach it bros ..
Not just published, but how did it get a glowing review in the NYTimes?
Draw your own conclusion.

Black privilege includes having any accusation made against a white person taken seriously.
Step by step white people are being talked into committing cultural (if not literal) suicide.
Everything about us is evil, everything our ancestors ever did is evil, every decent thing ever done in the world was done by African American women.
The reviews at Amazon are killing this guy. He wrote a dishonest left-wing screed, essentially lamenting that Whitey didn’t go to jail. Never mind the facts of the case. Whitey needed to go to jail, and Duke needs to be torn up and rebuilt from the foundations “because white privelege”.
