A park employee left for dead at the Chiricahua National Monument is speaking out about her attack.
Karen Gonzales, 60, was viciously beaten in broad daylight in one of the park restrooms.
She suffered a brain injury and is now walking with a limp. She tells News 4 Crime Trackers, I will never forget his face coming at me.
Gonzales was cleaning the womens restroom at the Faraway Ranch Campground when she heard a noise, looked up, and saw her attacker come at her with a rock.
The DNA evidence left behind identified 33-year-old Gilbert Gaxiola as her attacker. The Cochise Country Sheriffs Department confirms Gaxiola is an illegal alien.

One of Eric the Holder’s criminal “catch and release” projects? We need a new Department of Justice. BAD! Eric’s race baiters just ain’t cut out to do this.
Meh.
I’m certainly not happy, but yeah, I’d have been sorry about this.
Prior to 18 months ago.
Those old guys should simply have announced they were illegal aliens, perhaps...?
Probably one of the 36,000 known criminals that Obama ordered to be released from custody.
Hope she’s feeling that Jen Bush love ...

This was a cleaning lady who happened to work for the Forest Service, not some thug.
I have to imagine that Jeb doesn’t really want to be POTUS after that insane statement he made.
When I was a teenager working cattle in the Chiricahuas the illegals would shoot at us thinking we would run.
Always shocking to them when we shot back, usually rather vigorously.
Was entertaining to watch them scatter at high speed.
They were the worst of the worst, criminals who were on the run from Mexico in many cases, would kill anyone as much as look at them.
Knowing that they were inside the interior of the United States made my skin crawl then and now.
Ah, whoops! You are correct.
Apologies to all, and this poor woman CLEANING LADY, not veteran bully ranger.
Yes, Jebbie Bush needs to get this cleaning lady’s mind straight—she needs to understand that this was an action taken out of love.
Perhaps Jeb can get off his high horse and go educate this delusional woman.

The EPA is hurting border patrol.
There was a time I would have had sympathy. It’s awful tough now.
Rand Paul's immigration speech...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.[Posted on 03/19/2013 7:04:07 AM PDT by Perdogg]
Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.
Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.
Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.
If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...
This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.
Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reformLatinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...[Posted on 04/21/2013 1:52:42 PM PDT by SoConPubbie]
[but he's not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
