Rand Paul, you are INCREDIBLY TRANSPARENT. You are clearly pandering to folks on the left while trying your best to somehow maintain your conservative bona fides—possibly with the hope that you’d become acceptable to the GOPe as a presidential candidate in 2016. You’ve failed. You are NOT a true conservative and you lack internal integrity.

Just as Rubio has done, you’ve destroyed any chance you may have had to become the 2016 nominee. Now just go away and hug your pander bear.

LOL...Randie says “Nothing wrong with Voter ID, let’s just not emphasize it too much”. He IS the one who brought the recent attention to it, IIRC.

No thanks, No Sale, Randie.

The Libtardian bastard is trying to weasel out of what he said.

I notice he didn’t mention the fact that he also claimed that voter fraud was nothing to worry about, and overblown.

This tard (and all the followers he still has) isn’t even a RINO any more.
He and they are now openly liberal.

From the interview: "But I do mean what I said, that Republicans need to be aware that there is a group of voters that I’m trying to court and that we should be trying to court who do see it as something directed towards them".

So, he's courting the 'multiple voter' vote?

Rand Paul, if he had any aspirations for higher office, is crashing & burning.

If you use weasel words, you are probably a weasel. Cross Paul off the list.

Yes, that’s the way to win in American politics: Be a p- about everything. Don’t make strong stands on principles. Be nice. That’s how Democrats win, right?

Yes I heard the interview on Hannity yesterday and Paul would not let it go. He reminded me of other Repubs that hammer conservatives over "social issues". They constantly harp on "got to be more like the RAT party" to attract the moderates, as if the GOP is enough "democRATic" already.

One more item to put on the list of reasons why Rand Paul should not be a Presidential candidate in 2016 if the country still exists and we still have elections.

No one has the right to rob my vote of value.

Rand Paul - you need to understand - the sanctity of the vote is the freedom that anchors the rest of our freedoims...

A mandatory death penalty for anyone changing more than 100 votes willfully should become law.

Rand Paul is starting to make a career out of walking it back. He needs an advisor to tattoo the word “think” on the back of his hand.

Rand, you useless idiot, try fighting the bad guys for a change!

Just because the MSM makes it uncomfortable to defend conservative positions, is NOT a sign we should give up or shut up!

FIGHT THEIR LIES!

If you’re unwilling to do that, then get out of the way!

He has a point. Candidates need to spend most of their time talking about Obamacare, Common Core, Benghazi, stopping amnesty, and other substantive issues, not emphasizing voter ID. But we shouldn’t shy away from it either. I think this is a tactical judgment on Rand’s part.

One of the disturbing parts about what Paul said and is now saying is that he fails to recognize that the negativity that comes from advocating showing an ID to vote comes from the media. The media twists this issue into “modern day Jim Crow.” No matter what Republicans emphasize, the media will twist it. And he is a useful idiot for criticizing the GOP on this — he plays right into the trap.
