Hastert is a big lobbyist....they do more damage to the country then Boehner could ever dream of doing.

I STILL REMEMBER vote-after-vote with Hastert. The Republicans were the majority and they stuck together (and so did the Dems). The votes were, just about, all 230-205, nothing overwhelming, but the Republicans then dumped things on the Senate, where they usually, but not always, blocked it.

It really WAS NOT that hard to hold them together.
