The Age of Apostasy ... Mark Steyn

...

~Effective today, the Sultan of Brunei has made his lucky people the first in eastern Asia to live under a national Sharia law:

...

Brunei is a Commonwealth country whose ultimate court of appeal is the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in London. It will be interesting to see how culturally sensitive their Lordships are to the first gay stoning that lands on their desks.

Islamic law is a bitch to live under because it has a complete lack of proportion, an inability to tolerate any dissent from orthodoxy, and a disinclination to recognize the concept of private space. On the other hand, in a western world in which a man can be fined $2.5 million for expressing the view in a private conversation in his own home that he'd rather his mistress didn't go around with black men, who are we to judge?

Either way, it's all a bit arbitrary. In Islam, a woman must be submissive. In America, you're not supposed to call a woman "bossy", and the expression "Man up!" is about to be banned. These days, we're all living under apostasy regimes. My bet is that Islam's will prove more durable.

Islam is such a wonderful, peaceful religion; as long as you do EXACTLY what it tells you to do.

Those who support liberalism and who support Obama in particular should go see what this is like first-hand. I’d like to see all of Code Pink, all Daily Kos and DU regulars, and all big government liberals in Congress, the Supreme Court, and in our White House spend a year in Brunei. Sure some might be stoned and not make it back, but I’m happy to accept that risk if it furthers their education.

I think Mark knows better than that. Although I turn 60 this year, and smoke and drink to boot, I still expect to see Jesus Christ’s return while still living.

That means essentially there will be no more Islam anywhere on earth.

If you would like more detailed information on that, just google Walid Shoebat. There are hours and hours of information that will gladden your heart that the monsters will, after centuries of rape and murder, theft and deceit, genocide and blasphemy, get what is coming to them.

And, if like me, you have muslim friends and acquaintances, you can hook them up too. They won’t like it very much and they may not like you for showing it to them.

They will like standing before God a lot less, so make your own calculation on that.

The Long Good Friday made Hoskins a movie star in Britain, and then Who Framed Roger Rabbit?* and all the rest made him a name in America.

Really liked him in Roger Rabbit...

Late next year, punishments such as death by stoning for offences including sodomy and adultery will be introduced. Brunei is a Commonwealth country whose ultimate court of appeal is the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in London. It will be interesting to see how culturally sensitive their Lordships are to the first gay stoning that lands on their desks.

Ahhhh, now I can see why liberals back radical Muslims.../s

Sharia is nothing more than state terrorism, calculated to cow the public in Islamist states into absolute submission.

I am all for sending the pro-islam people to one of those countries. For one thing they will find out what it is like to live in a country where speech is only free if you agree with the ruling class.
