Lerner declared her innocence, denied wrong doing, and then refused to testify on the grounds it might incriminate her. If you believe her statement that she is innocent, then Lerner has no grounds for taking the 5th. If you believe she needs to take the 5th, then she lied about her innocence.

One way or the other, Lois Lerner lied to a Congressional Committee and is in contempt.

Any body know how old that Beach is? Lerner doesn’t look to me to be old enough to retire with a regular benefit. She’s been on the payroll long enough to be vested, certainly, and she must be a GS-something-or-other, but she might need another paycheck to buy groceries in the near term. So she’ll be on the Kenyan’s anti poverty plan in the meantime?
