They had to pass it to see what was in it.
They saw what was in it and had to pass it. So they lied.
They knew EXACTLY what was in the bill. This just does not happen. Their leadership knew it, they knew it and the Democrats knew it.
They are blustering with this bullshit because elections are coming up. Just like their national counterparts, they prefer to appease Democrats rather than having to serve their constituents honestly
