Terroristic threats, saying you’re going to send someone home to one’s mother in a body bag (i.e. dead)? This is the kind of trash that teaches at our universities?
Of course, CA has heavily modified the terroristic threat law into the
criminal threat law, which now overly favors the defendant.

Why would any decent person take a class titled “The Obama Phenomenon”? Even though Reagan was the best president in the past 100 years, and possibly ever, I wouldn’t take a class so narrow and overall trivial as “The Reagan Phenomenon”.

By the way, the author of the article incorrectly states that this joker is a professor.
He is only a “lecturer”, has only a bachelors degree, and no publications listed on the UC website.
He is not a professor.
Barack Obama wasn’t a professor either, but the fact that he gets away with claiming that is, indeed, part of the double standard that is the “Obama phenomenon”.

It can be very helpful for students to record lectures in challenging classes such as this one. Portable digital recorders are readily available and inexpensive.
It would be good to have this sort of threat documented. Heaven help any college staff member who ever threatened one of my children. (I won’t dignify this low-life by calling him a professor)
