The whole concept of “white privilege” is to neutralize objections to affirmative action. Who are we to complain privileges being given to formerly underprivileged people? But nearly everyone can trace back to unprivileged backgrounds, some very recent, while a vast majority of kids benefiting now from affirmative action come themselves from backgrounds of privilege at least one or two generations old. Consider the kids of Obama, Jarrett, Holder, and many other successful privileged people whose kids are treated the same as if they came from Appalachia or South Central LA. Tell them to consider their privileges and give way to truly unprivileged kids and they would laugh.

My grandparents left Appalachia to take jobs in factories. They were barefooted, literally, and educated through the 6th grade. They passed on life long marriages, faith, hard work, self reliance, and an appreciation for education. I think it is called thinking and acting white so yeah I am privileged.
Curious though that you can insulate yourself from that label if you are rich liberal democrat.

Sure, for the eight hours a week she’s in accounting or marketing classes or study groups, she’s not likely to be surrounded by raving leftists, but for the other 100 hours she’s awake, the NYU experience will be about as liberal as you can get. The greatest concentration by far of not-liberal life is in the many and very ethnically and denominationaly specific Asian Christian student groups.
That is the only way this ever ends. Direct confrontation. If they take it further, it’s on them.

All these “White Privilege” whines are simply the moans of the jealous who’d rather stand around with their thumbs up their asses and wait for the government to hand them something than get down to managing their own situations.
These days, if anytyhing at all, there’s an enormously powerful and pervasive Black Privilege, the proponents of which seek to transfer the successes of those who’ve toiled away for their lot in life and hand the fruits over to Blacks in exchange for doing little or nothing - except voting for their favorite Marxist.
And yet, we still hear all this insufferable horse sh*t about “White Privilege.”
It’s all a crock.
