Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus wants to know if the Obama administration is “stonewalling” on releasing more documents related to the 2012 attacks in Benghazi in order to protect Hillary Clinton, a likely 2016 presidential candidate.
His comments come after the group Judicial Watch — through a Freedom of Information Act request — obtained an email indicating the White House was directly involved in crafting the now-debunked talking points on Benghazi.
Priebus wants to know if there are more documents that could reveal new information on the events surrounding the attacks – and if so – what is keeping the Obama administration from sharing them.
“If the White House felt this talking points memo was classified, what else don’t we know about Benghazi and is all of this stonewalling just to protect Hillary?” Priebus said in a statement released Wednesday.
The documents released Tuesday show Ben Rhodes, a top foreign policy aide in the White House, saying the goal of then-U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice’s now-infamous Sunday talk show appearances was to “to underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, not a broader failure of policy.”
That argument – that the attacks were caused by a video – was later proven false. Intelligence immediately indicated that terrorists were behind the attacks that left four Americans dead, including Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya.
Judicial Watch, doing the work that neither Reince Priebus nor the RNC are capable of doing .....

It's not clear to me yet that they actually have any interest in a Hillary for President campaign. I'm waiting with something less than bated breath to see whether Hillary gets anything more than a lame endorsement from O. But I am really anxious to see if a "Stealth Obama Candidate" emerges to challenge the supposed slam dunk nomination of H.

Judicial Watch has the right to sue for disclosure, does it frequently and had to sue this time to force a release.

I dunno. I have always thought Hillary owns this. Her department, her man, her department’s rejection against security increases, her dept watched the LIVE video of the attack. Where the hell was she? It was on film.
Now comes a trade off in favors between Obama and Hillary. He has this fiasco on her, and she likely has plenty on him, I expect. This could be why the WH did not throw her over board, but covered up for her as well as him.
As for Priebus, he is simply banging away against Hillary as the front runner Candidate Hillary, the same way the Democrats slandered Christie, because he was thought to be the frontrunner.
Obama’s WH didn’t micromanage an outpost like Benghazi. They might instruct Hillary on goals, but she owns this, I think.
Please remind people that Ben Rhodes’ brother is president of CBS. What did CBS know and when did they know it? And does anyone remember how CBS played the information at the time?

that night? Didn’t the wh action room have that running, or the cia, Army Inel, Navy Intel, Marine Intel? Surly
someone was watching the action, surly the vp or state
were watching???
If the chairman of the RNC does not already know the answer to this question then he needs to resign.
