and electrcity rates will skyrocket in New England.

and we will be treated to stories of how cruel utility companies are.

and there will be a call to nationalize the electric industry.

and we will have power alternating on/off for a set number of hours each day.

and we'll call it fairness.

You folks downwind of the power plant don't like the emissions that come with generating electricity for your use. Fine. We're going to do a little load shedding to cut the generation requirements. I'm sure you won't miss the electricity.

Most of the air pollution in California is from China.
EPA needs to crack down on the Chinese..... Good luck.

The court's 6-2 ruling breathes new life into a 2011 EPA regulation known as the Cross-State Air Pollution Rule, which requires 28 states to reduce power-plant emissions that hurt the air-quality in states located downwind. The regulation stands to affect about 1,000 power plants in the eastern half of the U.S that may have to adopt new pollution controls or reduce operations.
This will mean a lot in clean-air loving places like, oh, New York City. And where does its electricity come from again?
