Gee, you were in Singapore “a few weeks ago”?

After posting that dozens, if not hundreds of times, shouldn’t you update it to months?

Singapore has nothing to do with America and Mexico and Latin America in regards to immigration, why post it all?

Because Singapore impressed the heck out of me.
Their Work Permits system eliminates illegal immigrants.
Because they know exactly where you work and live via the work permits. Employer can not hire anyone without a work permit. Rand Paul is in favor of the work permit system.

Singapore has practically no street crime. Drug dealers are given death penalty if convicted. So there is no drug problem. No jails, no cops, no judges, no bailiffs, no lawyers needed to enforce drug laws. If they catch you doing graffiti, or spitting in public areas, they flog you in public. No wonder the city looks clean.

Finally prosperity is visible everywhere. They have no food stamps or unemployment compensation programs by the government. Result? Negative 40% unemployment rate. Which means there are 40% more jobs than citizens. Those are filled by foreign workers on work permits.

US could learn a lot from Singapore, not from Mexico or S. America.
