Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz: Vulnerable Democrats must ‘run their own race’

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Florida Democrat, brushed off concerns Sunday over vulnerable Senate Democrats running against the Obama administration, saying that they “have to run their own race.”

“What’s the case is that each of these candidates have to run their own race,” Ms. Wasserman Schultz said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “They have to talk about and focus on the issues that are important to their constituents.”

By refusing to upbraid the candidates, at least publicly, Ms. Wasserman Schultz, who serves as chairman of the Democratic National Committee, appeared to be giving leeway to Democrats in tight races to disagree publicly with President Obama on hot-button issues.

This is a HUGE DEAL for us. It says, CLEARLY, that Obamacare is POISON to Democrats running this year and making the president look like an idiot loser is ok. This type of shift is not done lightly.

Silly you. Can't you see that the truth is always changing and evolving. That was then, this is now. A month ago Debbie spoke the truth, but the truth became inconvenient for her purposes. So the truth changed to match her needs.

Conservatives think there is only one truth. They even think the Constitution has only one meaning. Perhaps that is why many conservatives struggle to understand global climate change.
