Thank God Stephen Harper is in this world.
How did we Elect Obama while Canada elected this man?
It’s time, folks, to put your cold war hats back on, because that’s what we’re in. The Soviet structures in Russia were never dismantled, their crimes never punished, and their enablers in the West never exposed and expelled. And this is the price we pay for that.
Harper is a good Prime Minister and a leader. Canada should be proud.

You would not believe how Harper is derided by parts of the press in Canada.
He is the Leader of the Free World.
Meanwhile, Obama is the Leader of the Free S—t World.

Which is a greater threat to the world? An American president who is in cahoots with everyone who wants to destroy America? Muslims? Or Putin.
Obama and Putin have both out grown their britches and are going to do great damage in the world. Can’t stand either of them.
Harper is one of the few adults on the world stage.
The only thing about your theory is that Russia’s defense budget is now third place in the world.
China’s is larger.
And China’s still communist. Just saying. Bring back American manufacturing.

Indeed. I hope he’s ready to shoulder a lot because we are going to need him. Prayers up.

I agree 100%.
America sent a whole heck of a lot of American manufacturing to China.
China stepped in enthusiatically, and for some years this has been a mutually beneficial relationship.
No more. China now out-exports America. China continues to grow at a rapid pace.
China does not allow international investment in China, all investment must be through Chinese interests. And even land is off-limits to foreigners.
We need to start making things ourselves once again.
Russia is not the threat it once was.
Wake up people. We need to bring manufacturing back from China.
China is the country to watch. Big-time.
We have built our entire military being it seems, on being against Russia. All of our military build-up since WWII has been focused primarily on Russia.
It is hardly a surprize that everyone is still watching Russia with big eyes, watching their every move.
The thing is. Russia is now being eclipsed by China.
Right now. China’s military budget is now almost double Russia’s. China runs the largest military budget in the world, after America.
America ran a 440 billion / 122 billion trade deficit with China just last year.
We cannot continue that.
Why doesn’t Russia attack the border areas of China?
You win cold wars with money and superior material. short of selling the unicorn ranch I don’t see us finding the money to do either.
