And now the shooting begins.....
Twitter reports of a running gun battle in the streets most of the night.
Seems there were a bunch of Right Sector at the base. Several tweets said the Ukrainian Army people didn’t take part in the fighting.
I should add that there are already several videos of this on Youtube.
Welcome to the digital age.
But, but...it is so bad to shoot protesters (when non-Obama backed group allegedly do the shooting).
“three of the attackers have been killed, 13 wounded and 63 others detained.”
Great news.
Interogate those detainees down to their shorts if anything on them comes from Russia including their residence ship em to Kiev for todays UN hearing.
This was an attack on an armory presumably. The Ukrainians gave the Russians an ass kicking so naturally Putin’s FR brigade is spinning furiously here.
Are you a big fan of Samantha Powers?
Why is this sort of thing happening in the FR at all? Seeing many people so dedicated to pushing Russian propaganda I sometimes feel like in a forum of CPUSA activists.
In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled Ukrainian military base comes under attack in the southeast, To my suggestion urging Ukraine authorities use standardized techiques of examining materials including clothes in the investigation of espionage suspects.

Wow,they should really revoke your passport and send you back to Putinland if that’s the best you can come up with. If you think Putin is so great go back home.
Is that absolute anarchy took Ukraine? I wonder how it is possible that in a democratic society, which they claim to be, militants like the Right Sector got so much power and act as they like attacking military bases, taking weapons and participating in illegal military operations against peaceful people, especially when these people are non-Ukrainians. I’m very surprised with Ukrainian government which steers clear of the Right Sector... I wonder if Ukraine’s government plays any significant role because by all appearances it has absolutely no idea of how to establish control over Ukraine and crack down on nationalists. I’m very surprised with such disabilities because when someone can’t control his own home then bad people like the Right Sector come and establish their own tyranny.
